WLA 2010 will open on Sunday 31 October with the official Trade Show opening and Opening Dinner at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. Be at the Trade Show hall between 17.00 and 19.00 to meet some of Australia's unique native wildlife; including a snake, baby crocodile, baby wombat, cockatoo, bilby and koalas! The WLA 2010 Opening Dinner will follow, providing delegates with the ideal opportunity to reacquaint themselves with old lottery friends and make a few new ones. With entertainment and a feast fit for a king (King Neptune that is...now there's a hint!) provided, this is guaranteed to be a fun-filled start to WLA 2010.

On your arrival, after clearing Customs and collecting your luggage, you will progress to a Quarantine checkpoint. Visit the Advertising Awards Cinema within the Trade Show, between 31 October and 3 November, to view the shortlisted submissions in this year's WLA Advertising Awards and vote for your favourite. The judging panel has selected the shortlist, but it is delegate votes that will determine the category winners. This is a great opportunity to see how other lotteries are promoting their products, so visit the cinema and get involved! In the tradition of the WLA Convention, the WLA Advertising Awards will be presented at the Closing Dinner, which this year will take place on Thursday 4 November.
