Pack your hat, beach towel and sunscreen because on Friday 5 November we will be taking you for a day of sun, sand and adventure at Tangalooma Resort on beautiful Moreton Island. After being transferred to the Island by catamaran, plan your own itinerary by choosing from a range of adventure activities and tours. Take a desert safari into the sand dunes; try sand tobogganing; snorkel the wrecks; explore the area on a catamaran or outrigger canoe; gather a group for volleyball or cricket or simply unwind on the beach with a cold drink and a good book! A gourmet BBQ lunch will be served overlooking the beach to fuel your adventures.

The official Convention hotel for WLA 2010 is Brisbane's 5 star Sofitel, which offers a luxury accommodation experience in the heart of the city.
